Hello everyone! Boy, the time in the MTC flies. I thought it would go slow but it goes faster than anyone’s business. But since I entered the MTC last Thursday, a lot has happened. First of all I have actually started teaching lessons with my companion in Finnish with our investigators. Some days are good and some days are bad depends on how many words he says that I haven’t seen before. But I have also gotten used to the schedule in the MTC, it actually isn’t too bad even though it starts at 6:30 and ends at 10:30. But it isn’t too bad when the Lord is on your side! But strangely enough I got to escape the MTC to get my visa. Not in Salt Lake but actually in LA! So our flight was at 6:30 in the morning so we had to get up at 1:30 to get ready. Luckily I had the doughnuts to help me and my district get through the morning (much thanks Aunt Debbie!) then we were on our way. Being in LA was nice and it was also not. It was not nice because there was a lot of dead time and also it was when I became very aware of the fact that I had a name tag and I stood out like a sore thumb. But it was nice because we were in LA. I got to enjoy the warm weather and the palm trees. We even got to eat not-MTC food ( as a missionary stuck here for 9 weeks, it’s pretty nice). But we actually flew back that night so it was a very brief experience. But I love you and miss you all and I’m excited to see you all when I come back!
