My testimony

I think it’s fitting that my first post and probably the only one that I will probably be writing on my own is my testimony. I would like to bear my testimony that I know the church is true, that this is the same church that Christ established on earth during his mortal ministry. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, that he saw the father and the son in the grove and through their instruction brought back truth lost through time and history and is the proof that shows that God is not silent, that communication between him and his prophets has not been severed. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, it is a testament of God’s love for us and serves as a tool along with the Bible to aid us in learning of the Gospel and show us the path to return to our Father in Heaven. It has stood the test of time and has survived even the most scorching of critics as no one can change the truth of it. I testify of God’s love for us, that he created each and every one of us with more passion and creativity that would make even the most talented sculpture blush. He has a purpose for each and every one of us and will do everything in his power to help us return to be with him. Lastly I want to testify of Christ. I know that he is our savior and redeemer and is the ultimate example of God’s love for us. He suffered for each of our sins that we may have the opportunity to return to our Father. I know these things are true and I am excited to share with the people of Finland what I have learned. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
